Have we met?
Hi, I’m Natasha Deganello Giraudie.
I am a child of the Caribbean, the rainforest, and the tepuyes of Venezuela.
As an adult, I was adopted by the Redwoods and the Pacific Ocean of Northern California.
I'm also a filmmaker, speaker, host of the Top 20 podcast Nature Practice.
As a new mother, even though I was prioritizing my time in nature, and thought I was taking good care of myself, I was shocked to realize how much frustration, heartbreak and depletion I had come to accept as normal in my everyday life.
But with my baby in arms, I said, "Basta ya!" Enough is enough. I was not willing to let this be the soundtrack of her life.
I started asking new questions.
How can I feel alive & aligned everyday – not just on the trails or at the beach?
How do I bring the reverence of this moment into my Monday morning?
This led me on a journey, to extend the peaceful, vibrant, grounded presence that I felt so easily in nature, into our everyday life.
In developing what became the Nature Practice method, I began to retrace and expand upon three beloved threads of my life:
❀ Himalayan traditions from two decades of study with the Dalai Lama and nature retreats with Thich Nhat Hanh.
❀ Indigenous wisdom from a lifetime of learning from and collaborating with elders and wisdom keepers a number of tribes throughout the Americas.
❀ Creative expression from my work as a filmmaker of award winning projects, and for my personal explorations of sketching, poetry, and song.
Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of guiding more than a thousand of Earth lovers—from all corners of the world, across different backgrounds, heritages and spiritual traditions in restoring and strengthening their natural peace by deepening their relationship with the Earth.
I've also been invited to teach a Nature Practice course at Stanford University and lead workshops for the United Nations, the Dalai Lama Fellows, Yosemite’s NatureBridge, One World Ayurveda in Bali, and others.
I look forward to getting to know you and
helping you share your natural peace with the world.
Would you like to contact me?
I look forward to hearing from you.
