Natasha was extremely well received—a direct result of her ability to “connect” powerful facts with the heartstrings of an audience desiring to do good works and to make a difference. Natasha has a gift for powerful storytelling that speaks to both the rational and emotional needs of her audience. She was clearly a bright spot for me and for my organization.

Natasha has come to speak at the d.school at several years running. She’s the best kind of speaker: she speaks from experience.Â
Her talks are invaluable for our students as she turns her cutting edge experience into inspiring and enlightening anecdotes and insights.

Natasha has come to teach in my classes several times.  Each time, I am amazed at the level of concentration and engagement of my students both as they completed the exercises, and reflected on their experiences. Natasha’s nature practice seamlessly and beautifully combines emotional, intellectual, phenomenological, and corporeal dimensions. Highly recommended to university students in a broad variety of courses, including ecology and environment, and ethics and humanities, and reflection on technology.

THE NATURE OF PRESENCE
Restoring natural presence in an increasingly artificial world.
Earth lovers are already familiar with Natural Presence. They experience it on the trails, at the beach, under the moon — where attention settles, the senses awaken, and they are able to respond to the world through the lens of wonder, awe and possibility. But the moment we return to everyday life, that presence often evaporates too quickly. Digital noise, catastrophic news and the constant pressure of our times pull our attention apart. We unconsciously twist into our Contorted Selves, replacing aliveness and alignment with overstimulation and overwhelm.
So the question becomes: in an increasingly artificial world, how might we restore our natural presence as our everyday default — not just as a personal practice, but as a form of cultural and ecological resilience and renewal?
-
You’ll leave with a grounded, everyday practice for shifting from overwhelm to deep presence—even in the busiest moments.
-
You’ll discover how your relationship with the Earth directly amplifies your presence, giving you more power and clarity in your life’s work.
-
You’ll gain a fresh, heartfelt model for navigating both personal growth and collective healing—one that is as soulful as it is practical.
THE ONE PLACE TO BEGIN
When we feel overwhelmed by the complexity of the modern world, we often freeze. We think we have to change everything—move to the forest, quit our jobs—to find peace. But radical change often starts with a single, specific thread.
The Personal Diagnostic: Â Attendees identify exactly which aspect of their inner ecosystem needs tending right now (e.g., Clarity, Composure, or Connection). The "25-Minute Reset" Strategy:Â How to use daily "Soulful Sips" of nature to regulate the nervous system and restore focus in high-stress environments.
A Integration Roadmap:  Practical steps to integrate silence, sensory awareness, and rhythm into a busy calendar immediately.
