Natasha was extremely well received—a direct result of her ability to “connect” powerful facts with the heartstrings of an audience desiring to do good works and to make a difference. Natasha has a gift for powerful storytelling that speaks to both the rational and emotional needs of her audience. She was clearly a bright spot for me and for my organization.

Natasha has come to speak at the d.school at several years running. She’s the best kind of speaker: she speaks from experience.
Her talks are invaluable for our students as she turns her cutting edge experience into inspiring and enlightening anecdotes and insights.

Point of View
In working with thousands of Earth lovers around the world,
I've seen a certain pattern so often, I call it the Earth Lover's paradox.
It’s the pain of feeling alive and aligned in nature...
and then overwhelmed, resistant and heartbroken in the world.
Why does this happen?
Science shows all sorts of benefits for spending time outdoors. That’s true.
And it shows even greater benefits for adding contemplation to that time outdoors,
like with forest bathing or with nature-centered mindfulness. Yes.
However, what I am seeing over and over again
is that these benefits are evaporating too quickly
in the face of the turbulence we are living through.
This is why my focus is on helping Earth lovers and leaders,
restore their grounded, curious, responsive presence,
as their default state, no matter what storm may be going on.
This is the core of what has become the Nature Practice method.
