Book Natasha to Speak

What is  Women Who Walk with Elephants?

Have you ever wished for:

PEACE
Feeling peaceful on a good day in nature, to feeling peaceful every day?

RECIPROCITY
Loving the Earth to living in reciprocity with her?

INTUITION
Leading with your rational wing to unfurling your intuitive one and soaring with both?

And make this happen in a practical and pleasurable way, in a cohort of women, like you,
who are devoted to the wellbeing of elephants of generations to come?

Caretakers, veterinarians, conservationists, storytellers, artists, funders.

If so, you are in the right place.

Natasha was extremely well received—a direct result of her ability to “connect” powerful facts with the heartstrings of an audience desiring to do good works and to make a difference. Natasha has a gift for powerful storytelling that speaks to both the rational and emotional needs of her audience. She was clearly a bright spot for me and for my organization.

American Red Cross, Bay Area Chapter

"Transformative experience. Connecting with nature and your inner calm in such a short span was amazing. Natasha has a calming soul and I highly recommend this experience."

Justine

"Not your average meditation session.  Natasha weaves a number of wonderful practices into her ‘nature practice’ and makes them all accessible to everyone."

Stephen

"Natasha draws on personal narratives, traditions & scientific research in her 'Nature Practice'.  You'll remember why moments of peace in nature are important."

Natasha has come to speak at the d.school at several years running. She’s the best kind of speaker: she speaks from experience.

Her talks are invaluable for our students as she turns her cutting edge experience into inspiring and enlightening anecdotes and insights.

– Scott Doorley
professor, Stanford University

Natasha has come to teach in my classes several times.  Each time, I am amazed at the level of concentration and engagement of my students both as they completed the exercises, and reflected on their experiences. Natasha’s nature practice seamlessly and beautifully combines emotional, intellectual, phenomenological, and corporeal dimensions. Highly recommended to university students in a broad variety of courses, including ecology and environment, and ethics and humanities, and reflection on technology.

– Rasmus Winther
professor, University of California, Santa Cruz

We brought Natasha to offer a keynote talk for Earth Week on Natural Presence in an Increasingly Artificial World and to lead two small gatherings with our students.
I strongly recommend her.

Her presentation approach combines research from a variety of fields with her extensive and wide-ranging personal experiences, in a very engaging, authentic, personal, honest way.

Natasha listens to people in a way that is deeper than most people are able to, and she responds with very grounded, intuitive information. She is simply a delight to be around.

Signature Keynote

Beyond Spending Time in Nature

Collaborating with the Earth to restore everyday peace, natural reciprocity and grounded intuition.

Purpose-driven organizations rely on leaders and team members who care deeply. These visionaries are often the heart of the mission, yet they are also the most susceptible to burnout. Because they are so highly attuned, they bravely bear witness to the complexities of our time, often absorbing the chaos until they are left experiencing:

  • Depletion from the noise, the overstimulation and from fearing that the great challenges of our time may be insurmountable.

  • Heartbreak from refusing to look away from the pain of the world, and the harm we are doing to each other and to the Earth.

  • Frustration from the dissonance between the coherence they find in nature, and the misalignment of their everyday lives.

From a Nature Practice perspective, when  we are often left feeling depleted, heartbroken and frustrated, it has less to do with how we've shown up for ourselves... and more to do with how we are cultivating our relationship with the Earth.

In this paradigm-shifting keynote, Natasha offers a different perspective. She guides audiences through a nature-centered approach to deepening their relationship with the Earth – beyond spending time in nature – bring about more creative resourcefulness, profound wellbeing, and meaningful alignment.

Key Takeaways:

  • The Root Cause: How the depth of your relationship with the Earth influences whether you embody the chaos of the artificial world or the brilliance of nature's intelligence.

  • The Three Key Shifts: A practical framework for how to stop taking your cues from the Artificial world and become a clearer more resonant,  instrument of purpose.

  • How to Get Started: We will walk through a trail-inspired map that shows you exactly where your sensitivity may be draining you, and where you have an opportunity to transform it into the profound natural intelligence that it is.

About Natasha

Natasha Deganello Giraudie is a daughter of the Venezuelan Caribbean, adopted by the Californian redwoods.

Just when she thought she had integrated 20+ years of studying with the Dalai Lama and a lifetime of learning from Indigenous wisdom keepers, Natasha experienced an unexplained heart attack without physical obstruction.

This led her on a journey to come closer to the Earth, heart-to-heart with her, to allow the generosity of her gifts, her wisdom and her healing to flow abundantly through her.

Today, Natasha is a Nature Practice advisor and mentor for people who are committed to the wellbeing of all beings. She guides them in rooting into profound peace, restoring natural reciprocity, and unfurling their intuition by deepening their relationship with the Earth—beyond spending time in nature.

The Nature Practice method has emerged from Natasha's life experience and has been shaped by the hundreds of nature lovers, changemakers, and caring humans she has worked with around the world.

She has taught Nature Practice at Stanford University and guided workshops and retreats for organizations including UNESCO, the Dalai Lama Fellows, One World Ayurveda in Bali, and NatureBridge at Yosemite. She is also the host of the Apple Top 20 podcast Nature Practice and an award-winning documentary filmmaker. Her films exploring spiritual ecology have been broadcast on PBS, screened at the Smithsonian, and presented at UNESCO events. She was also a contributor to YES! Magazine.
