For those who feel free in nature & frustrated in the world. . .
❀ Reconnect with your natural peace — so you can move through life with clarity, not chaos.
❀ Reverse the exhausting spinning of resistance — so you can feel renewed, not depleted.
❀ Consciously collaborate with nature — so you can live in flow instead of fighting the current.
❀ Feel deeply rooted in your truth — so you can live and lead with courage, not conformity.
❀ Be held by a like-hearted community — so you can stop feeling alone in your sensitivity and your deep love for the Earth.
All without moving to the forest or becoming a monk. . .
We are all meant to embody the Earth's essence.
We are each here to be an expression of her life energy, her beauty, and her peace.
Even just a few minutes of specific, nature-centered practices can profoundly transform your sense of meaning, belonging and alignment for life.
You already know the feeling.
There’s something downright magical that can happen in nature.
On the trails.
By the shore.
Under the moon.
The noise quiets. The chaos stops. Your worries fade.
You’re wrapped in a comforting energy of profound peace.
And something more.
Meaning. Belonging. Alignment.
But then, your everyday life takes over…
Deadlines. Headlines. Guidelines.
Your days fill with noise, pressures and distractions.
Those qualities you touched with the Earth fade into a memory — sometimes even while you’re still outdoors, when the weight of your worries feels heavier than the pack on your back.
This is the Earth Lover’s Paradox:
When the conditions are just right, you're able to touch a profound sense of meaning, belonging and alignment in nature, yet it slips away before it can shape your days, your work, and how you show up for what matters most.
Nature Practice is designed to dissolve this gap — to help you carry the soulful sense of meaning, belonging, and alignment you touch in nature into every part of your life.

Everything starts to look different, feel different. I didn't expect that. After the first two lessons, I called my friend and I said, you HAVE to take this class.

Tessa
It’s helped me become more calm, clear and confident. It’s also helping me to strengthen my decision-making & my intuition.

Reshma
I feel like I’m never alone, even if I'm the only person around - that is a huge gift. The practice has also helped me find beauty.
What if those moments didn't end?
Imagine waking up with a warm-hearted sensation—a knowing of the preciousness of this moment. To be able to experience another day of vibrant, aligned peace—not just on rare occasions, but as your default state.
Imagine your regular life was infused with:
❀ Meaning — that your life matters, and that you’re part of something vast and beautiful.
❀ Belonging — that you are at home with the Earth, and she is at home with you.
❀ Alignment — that your choices, relationships, and priorities reflect your deepest values.
Imagine that you contribute to our times in ways that are more calm, courageous and creative.
Imagine living in a way that feels soul-satisfying — all the time.
This is what Nature Practice is designed to help you do.

Why this matters.
When you cultivate this soulful relationship with the Earth, everything changes — not just your mood, but the way you spend your time, the way you show up for others, and the way you care for the world.
This isn't a personal indulgence. It’s a vital part, of our ability to be able to, not only stop, but actually reverse this life-depleting momentum of injury we are experiencing, transforming it into a life-enriching cycle of healing and regeneration.
This is for you if you long to feel whole again — to live as the same soulful, aligned version of yourself in everyday life that you are on the trails or under the stars.

Have we met?
Hi, I’m Natasha Deganello Giraudie.
Nature will be our mentor, our teacher. I’m happy to be your guide.
I am a child of the Caribbean, the rainforest, and the tepuyes of Venezuela. I raised my daughter among the Redwoods and the Pacific Ocean of Northern California.
As an expecting mother, I was shocked to realize the amount of overwhelm, exhaustion and misalignment that I had come to accept as normal. I was not willing to accept that this would become the soundtrack of my baby’s life. This led me on a journey, to extend the soulful sense of meaning, belonging, and alignment that I had touched in nature, into our everyday life.
In developing what later became the Nature Practice method, I began to retrace and expand upon three beloved threads of my life:
❀ Himalayan traditions from two decades of study with the Dalai Lama and nature retreats with Thich Nhat Hanh.
❀ Indigenous wisdom from a lifetime of learning from and collaborating with elders and wisdom keepers a number of tribes throughout the Americas.
❀ Creative expression from my work as a filmmaker of award winning projects, and for my personal explorations of sketching, poetry, and song.
Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of guiding more than a thousand of Earth lovers—from all corners of the world, across different backgrounds, heritages and spiritual traditions. I have also taught a nature practice course at Stanford University and led workshops for the United Nations, the Dalai Lama Fellows, Yosemite’s NatureBridge, One World Ayurveda in Bali, and others.
I look forward to getting to know you and helping you share your natural peace with the world.

Stages of soulful relationship with the Earth.
Many who join the Nature Practice program arrive with a deep love for the Earth — they spend time outdoors, know her rhythms, and may have studied her ecosystems. They’ve built strong physical, mental, and emotional bonds with her.
What we cultivate in Nature Practice, is something more intimate and transformative: your soulful relationship with the Earth. The kind of bond that soothes you and energizes you in ways that help you become a greater instrument of healing for yourself, your community and the Earth herself.
Wherever you are in your journey — whether you’ve only felt brief moments of profound peace in her presence, or you’ve woven them into the fabric of your days — you are welcome here. This path meets you exactly where you are and helps you deepen those qualities until they flow naturally through your life and through the world around you.
❀ Stage One. Bark: Emerging Peace
You’ve tasted peace—and that’s no small thing. Perhaps you feel it when you’re on a quiet trail, by the ocean, or surrounded by trees. But when life gets loud again, that peace feels far away. This is where many of us begin: loving the Earth, longing to protect her and defending her beauty. But not yet feeling the steady, living relationship with her that restores our peace from the inside out. The opportunity is to move from fleeting moments of peace to a way of being that stays with you.
Doorway to Stage Two: The Earth is inviting you into a true relationship — one where she becomes a presence you can turn toward.
❀ Stage Two. Phloem: Relational Peace
You’re beginning to realize that peace isn’t just about where you are, but a relationship you are in. You already spend time outdoors, know the Earth’s rhythms, and feel a deep love for her — but now you’re starting to feel her presence as a living companion you can turn toward. This is a stage of growing intimacy, where you greet the Earth like a friend instead of a destination. Peace is no longer something you visit — it starts visiting you. The Earth is calling you to deepen this relationship so it can guide your choices, not just brighten your moments.
Doorway to Stage Three: You begin moving from stumbling into moments of peace to consciously creating them.
❀ Stage Three. Cambium: Creative Peace
You are actively curating and creating a repertoire of practices that reliably infuse your life with meaning, belonging and alignment, in collaboration with the Earth. Peace is no longer an occasional gift of perfect conditions — it’s something you’re co-creating together through your daily rhythms and rituals. This stage is rich with creativity and experimentation. You’re weaving peace into your life in ways that are unique to you, through moments of beauty, playfulness, and presence – and seeing peace as a craft you’re meant to master.
Doorway to Stage Four: You start showing up with consistency, shaping these practices so they’re unmistakably your own.
❀ Stage Four. Sapwood: Reliable Peace
You’ve experienced the compounding effect of the daily practice of consciously cultivating a sense of meaning, belonging and alignment in collaboration with the Earth. You've seen how it infuses your thoughts, words and actions. You start to understand what Rumi meant when he said, "When you take on step towards peace, peace takes 1,000 steps towards you." In this stage, you are personalizing your repertoire of practices to make them your own – according to your aspirations, location, heritage, spiritual tradition, and stage of life. As you make them more resonant, you make them easier to return to again and again. The benefits are becoming more consistent, and your practice feels like a natural part of your life.
Doorway to Stage Five: The steadier your presence, the more peace stays with you — even when life is turbulent.
❀ Stage Five. Heartwood: Peace by Default
You are living in the ceremony of life, continuously connected to your profoundly peaceful presence. The nature-centered sense of meaning, belonging and alignment infuses your every breath, your every step. Your relationship with the Earth is a living, breathing bond that shapes how you see, speak, and act in the world. Life's challenges may throw you off balance, but you know how to return. At this level of mastery, your humility roots you, which inspires you to continue deepening and expanding your sacred relationship with the Earth for as long as life remains.

Inspired by a tiny colibrí.
The hummingbird taught me that I didn’t have to leave my life behind to access my peaceful, grounded presence. I didn't have to move to the forest or become a monk.
I could simply open my door and take regular, soulful sips of nature—right where I am.
That’s why the Nature Practice method is designed to fit into real life—just 25 minutes or less per day to nurture deep, lasting peace.
